WRITERS' GUIDELINES:

OCEAN publishes stories, articles, essays, and poems about the ocean - scientific, creative, environmental, recreational, spiritual - in keeping with its celebration and protection of our ocean.

Deadlines for OCEAN's quarterly issues are:

January 15
April 15
July 15
October 15

You may send sample writings, or full text submissions.

Send writing submissions by EMAIL, preferably.

Please include the text in the body of the email. You may also attach a Word or pdf file of the text.

Along with the text, include your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number.

Or MAIL submissions to:

PHOTOGRAPHERS' GUIDELINES:

OCEAN publishes photographs and illustrations of the ocean or related to the ocean.

Deadlines for the quarterly issues are:

January 15
April 15
July 15
October 15

Photographs - high resolution 300 dpi, tif, 5" wide minimum.

Scanned photographs and illustrations - high resolution 300 dpi, tif, 5" wide minimum.

Send submissions by EMAIL, preferably.

Please send each photograph or illustratration in separate emails.

Along with the photograph or illustration, include your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number.

Or MAIL a CD or hard copy to:
